Omni Instruments is one of the UK’s largest suppliers for data loggers and remote data acquisition instruments. They had a complete custom website that was built in php and wanted to upgrade the website to be on the ecommerce platform.

Their sales where starting to slow down because their existing website wasn’t responsive or mobile friendly. Their existing website also didn’t have the functionality to pass products to online merchants like Google Merchant.

They wanted their new website to talk with their in-house accounts system so that product prices would pass from one system to another.

We designed them a website that would be very easy to navigate from mobile devices. When designing a website for a mobile device the website speed and loading times have to be very low. We have a full in-house optimisation team that took care of the speed of the website so graphics would load lightning fast.

Omni Instruments now have a brand new website built in the most recent version of Magento 1 which is 1.9.2.4. The system talks with their in-house accounts software and auto updates prices as they change in their accounts package. The system now exports products to Google Merchant and is fully mobile friendly.
